The Volunteer Center recruits volunteers and matches them with volunteer opportunities for residents and local businesses in order to strengthen our community. Nonprofit organizations rely upon volunteers now more than ever - making the work of the Volunteer Center critical to their success.

With a new more user-friendly website, the Volunteer Center promotes and publicizes a growing number of volunteer opportunities - everything from tutoring and mentoring to neighborhood clean-ups.  A special emphasis will be given to expanding the number of volunteers from local businesses as well as increasing the number of youth volunteers, showing everyone the importance of giving back to the community.
