| Organization Mission/Description: Family Counseling Services was founded over 120 years ago by a group of citizens concerned with the well-being of individuals and families in our community. Today, FCS continues to provide counseling, psychotherapy and family life education to individuals and families in Winnebago, Boone and Northern Ogle counties in Illinois. Our innovative programs reflect our ardent belief in the need to preserve the family unit and reestablish family values and accountability through early intervention. |
| Skills Needed: Previous board experience is helpful, as are contacts in the community and a willingness to share one's expertise to help FCS be a resource for strengthening families. |
