Relay For Life Event Volunteers

The American Cancer Society is looking for day of volunteers for the Relay For Life of Winnebago County taking place June 22, 2012-June 23, 2012. Day of event volunteers are asked to assist anytime during the day from 10am on June 22, 2012 to help set-up the event, then from 5pm(6/22/12) - 5am (5/23/2012) to help execute and clean-up the event. Anytime commitment during those hours is welcome! Groups and children are welcome as we have various opportunities we need help filling. Groups/individual volunteers have the opportunity to run the kids tent, help celebrate the survivors during opening ceremonies, help remember those lost or still fighting cancer by setting up Luminaria around the track before dusk for the Luminaria ceremony, help run games, help on the logistics side, greet participants, sit at an information or silent auction table, or simply be a smiling face around the event to make sure everyone is having a good time!
