Volunteer Coordinators
The Volunteer Center collaborates with local volunteer coordinators to help them fulfill their needs for volunteers. Through submitting volunteer opportunities to the Volunteer Center, non-profits can expect to find an increase in the amount of volunteers they receive. Any volunteer opportunities that are submitted are immediately added to the volunteer opportunities database and are mentioned on the United Way of Rock River Valley's Facebook page.
On the Volunteer Center's website, the ongoing needs of non-profits in the community are promoted. Through anything from news and events postings to wish list submissions, these needs are publicized.
The Volunteer Center also has resources and participates in programs which are designed to aid volunteer coordinators in their goal of strengthening the community. These are found in different ways, like the Benefits of Volunteering, Tips for Getting and Maintaining Volunteers, Day of Caring Projects, and the Volunteer Connections committee.
