Veterans Drop In Center

The Veterans Drop-In Center came onto the scene in 2009, when a group of caring, compassionate people decided that Rockford area veterans and their families needed a place to gather and meet with their peers – without some of the formalities that come with other veterans’ organizations.

We are constantly expanding upon the list of services and activities that we have to offer. We now have our own building now, so we will have greater flexibility in what we can do going forward.

Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and positive social environment where all veterans and their families, with local veterans service organizations, can give and receive help transitioning into and continuing to adapt to post-service life.

At the Veterans Drop-In Center, we're all about supporting our veterans. We offer companionship and camaraderie, essential services like meals and hygiene facilities, counseling, employment assistance, health and wellness programs, housing support, education and skill-building opportunities, and family support. Our community engagement initiatives strengthen the bonds between veterans and the local community. We're here to honor, support, and empower those who have served our nation.
