Jeremiah Development

Our programs link over 900 residents to mental/phtsical health providers and social service agencies in one convenient neighborhood location. We provide over 300 pounds of fresh vegetables each summer through our pilfering garden. This is open to anyone in need to harvest food. We provide oppertunities for neighbors to come together in a relaxed atmosphere, for discussion about the blight and crime plaguing this underserved area of Rockford. We raise up leaders in the community to address issues and support them in their solutions. We provide opportunities for educational and career advancement along with personal growth, through our computer lab and Take-A-Book library. By touching the lives of over a thousand individuals and families annually, we are making a difference in the Rockford community.

Jeremiah Development (Neighborhood Programing Resource Center) We host a variety of indoor and outdoor events, to give the members of the community a chance to connect with resources to help build stronger and healthier families. We have Movies in the Park, Community Computer Lab, Take a Book Library and Community Gatherings. Jeremiah Development presents LOVE Rockford an annual event that takes place on the 2nd Saturday of July, bringing needed services to the downtowwn area in a "one stop shop" event.
