Who We Are

Housing is a basic human need; those with a disability or who have low socioeconomic status are often excluded from safe, quality housing opportunities. Trinity House targets these populations and works collaboratively with other human service agencies to promote the advancement of those who need services the most.

  • In collaboration with MELD, Trinity House provides a homeless shelter and  transitional living apartments  for pregnant and parenting young mothers
  • In collaboration with Mosaic, Trinity House provides a group home for adult women with intellectual disabilities
  • An emergency shelter is available for homeless families with children through their collaboration with Shelter Care Ministries
  • Several Trinity House buildings offer permanent housing – which are income base rental units. These apartments are offered to clients who are least able to compete for affordable housing because of their circumstances. They often receive support services from Rosecrance Ware Center, RAMP, the MELD rapid re-housing program, and Children’s Home and Aid Society.

As a collaborative partner with each of these agencies, Trinity House owns the building and takes responsibility for the daily upkeep and maintenance, utilities, inspections, safety and security – everything needed for the agency to be in compliance with their individual charters. This allows the agency staff to focus primarily on case management and individual client support.

What We Do
